Privacy Policy

The calculators collect nothing

The kitchen and bathroom calculators on RemodelCostCalc run entirely in your browser. The sizes, finish levels and regions you enter are processed on your device and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Preview forms store data only in your browser

Some pages include early preview forms (for example, "Email me the full itemized breakdown" and the contractor founding list). While the related services are not yet live, anything you type into those forms is saved only in your own browser's local storage and is not sent to us. The pages say so next to each form. When those services launch, this policy will be updated before any form begins transmitting data.

Basic hosting logs

Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser types) to deliver pages and protect the service. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.

No sale of personal information

We do not sell personal information. If the contractor embed program launches, estimate requests submitted through a contractor's own embedded calculator will be delivered to that contractor only — that is the purpose the homeowner will be told about at the point of submission.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions about privacy can be sent via the contact page.
